About Us

Charles Carnevale attended the University of Tampa in the 1970s, and while at UT, his economics professor presented a thesis that stated, “Earnings determine the market price of a publicly traded company in the long run.” This idea lodged itself in Chuck’s mind and became his life’s work.

After meeting Julie Carnevale, who became his wife and business partner, they began working together to develop their value investing ideology based on the idea that earnings determine market price. Together, after graphing and analyzing thousands of companies, they realized that they had discovered the truth supporting the thesis that there existed a strong relationship to a stock’s earnings and market prices in the long run.

In 1992, they teamed up with Tim Loudin, an information technology specialist that possessed the programming skills necessary to automate the Carnevale’s fundamental stock analysis research needs. Chuck’s vision was developed into what is now the F.A.S.T. Graphs™ (Fundamentals Analyzer Software Tool) cloud-based software. F.A.S.T. Graphs™ has become the fundamental stock analysis tool Chuck had been looking for all along. Within a matter of minutes, Chuck could examine the relationship of a stock’s operating results to price performance on thousands of companies. F.A.S.T. Graphs™ has access to 20 years of the necessary fundamental historical data on thousands of U.S. and Canadian public companies.

Although F.A.S.T. Graphs™ started out exploiting the relationship between operating earnings and stock price, the tool has evolved over the years to include the ability to examine valuation utilizing numerous additional metrics.  These include, but are not limited to, price to basic and diluted earnings, cash flow and free cash flow, price to sales, etc.

Additionally, FUN Graphs (Financial Underlying Numbers) were developed to empower F.A.S.T. Graphs’ users to examine important components of a company’s financial statement, to include the balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and important returns, such as return on equity, return on invested capital, net and gross operating margins, and much more.  Today F.A.S.T. Graphs™ in conjunction with FUN Graphs empower users to research stocks deeper, faster and more efficiently than any comparable research tool.

The F.A.S.T. Graphs™ tool takes all the hours of manual graphing of business fundamentals and reduces it to seconds, giving the individual investor critical information in an instant. This stock charting tool created to calculate and reveal the intrinsic value of a stock has been used by Chuck, Julie and Tim for a number of years, when they decided to create an online forum to allow every individual investor the opportunity to use this unique tool.
